I HATE RENTING!

Ok so most of you that know me know that we have already moved into the house we are renting for the next year (If I last that long). From day one it was nothing but trouble. We got the keys on the 14th of June and moved in on the 15th of June. When we got to the house on the 14th we got the keys and saw that the place was still a mess and that the evil ones (the owners, landlords, complete imbecils, whatever you wanna call them) still had a good amount of their belongings in our home. Mine you were have people moving stuff on Saturday morning. They assure us that things will be done by the am and not to worry.

So we take of for home with our new keys excited to get finished up to move the next day. Well what do you know but at about 10 that night the A/C goes out in our house. So we head to my moms to get some rest to move on Saturday.

So Saturday gets here and we head out to get a truck to move. Got the truck, got the guys to load the truck. We get to our old house to load up the truck and the house is 98 degrees. UGH so this is not gonna be pleasant. So we think...It is fine we are going to our new house with A/C. YAY right? No wrong. So we get to the new house and half the garage is filled with their shit and the house is disgustingly dirty, Im talking nothing wiped down, the sinks had old food so did the pantry, the floors were coated in Dog Hair which Dylan is allergic to. So we take 2 hours and 25 bucks in cleaning products to get this stupid ass house in order so we have a place to live.

Well we are working with the evil idiots to finish up some upgrades. To this point They have put molding around 2 doors and made a phone call to get new carpet in Dylans room, another place they left their mutts. So all that said, we are still waiting on baseboards to our house, those are supposed to be installed tomorrow night....we shall see. The yard was a mess and we had to pay someone to clean it up. Now get this...the idiot owner says to me: The house is clean. UGHHHHH

So today I called on of them to have them take care of a problem and I get into it on the phone with her to the point that when they came by tonight to arrange plans for tomorrow, Isaac sent me in the room so I didnt punch the bitch in the nose. I really am ready already for next year to get here. I cant take much longer before someone gets hurt.

Boring Little Tidbit

So I am not doing so hot on this 30 posts in 30 days so I figured I would post a little something now and then something later tonight.

Got up this morning. Cleaned a little bit. Went and got Tyler new shoes. He looks so damn cute in them too. Went out shopping with my mom last night and got Tyler new socks (exciting huh?) and Dylan some plain white t-shirts to match all his odd colored shorts (even more exciting there).

Mom and Dad are watching the boys tonight YAY as we are going to a DBacks game that hubby surprised me with. I am jazzed. A night out without the kids. Rare. Should be fun. Will post more later. Tootles and enjoy your Saturday

Feelin Icky

Ok so I dropped the ball last night and didnt post a blog. My stomach seemed to have a mind of its own and decided that it didnt want to cooperate. So here I am today.

Not much going on . Isaac surprised me with D-Backs tickets for this Saturdays game. No biggie huh? Well he even lined up a sitter for the boys without being asked. I would say that is huge if you know Isaac.

Been a rough day. Feeling crappy so im not bloggin much. Matter of fact...I think it is about time for me to lay down.

More tomorrow...hopefully my stomach will feel better.

30 Posts in 30 Days

Ok so I havent posted in a while, hell, who am I kidding it has been ages. So we found a house! YAY...still working on getting unpacked. Man I have alot of stuff. Tons more than I thought I could fit into our old 1600 sq ft house. Anyhow we are getting unpacked slowly but surely.

So my lovely mommy friends at PM have issued a 30 posts in 30 days challenge. Am I up for it? Hell ya! Can I accomplish it? We shall see. So this is my first of 30.

Been a long week already, went grocery shopping, and gonna go shopping for stuff for my house tomorrow with my cousin Michelle. I am jazzed. Shopping, for non food related items, without the kids and husband. WAHHHOOOO.

Anyhow gonna head back to PM see what is going on the boards. Try to help Chrissy up her post count and stay ahead of the game. That or go and read Twilight. OMG I love Edward Cullen. :) .. Havent read it yet? Then go get it and read it. It is pretty much consuming my life at the moment. So until tomorrow...goodnight. :)

House Hunting Hell

So it has been a quiet few days in the house. Dylan has been allowed no sugar at all and he is doing pretty good. Tyler is also doing great. He is so quiet most of the time unless he is tired or hungry but that is about the norm with most babies.

So we have been searching and searching ... and searching for a new house. We are supposed to be outta this house by June 30th so we have begun the search.

Found a few houses that we were able to get into. There were 5 that we were supposed to look at. The first one we couldnt even find, the second one we got in but it was so small and had 1 counter in the kitchen, the third we couldnt get the lock box open, the fourth the key was broke off in the door so we couldnt get in and the last house was cute and a decent size but the carpet, even after being cleaned was horrid. I mean this place even had burns (the size of an iron) in the floor. HORRID.

So we head home to look for more houses to view. We get home and have some lunch and let Tyler nap and we find more to look at. We were able to view 2 homes. They were both nice but I am not certain that they jump out at me. So we continue to search.

I think I am just burnt out on all the phone calls and being in the car most of today. It was a very long day and well I am just tired now LOL.

I think if my phone rings again tonight I am gonna throw it out the window.

There is a house that we are interested in but it wont be avaliable for viewing until next week sometime. It is $895 a month, 1700 square feet, 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and in the area we want so keep your fingers crossed for me.

In the meantime ... back to packing and looking until we find what we are looking for. Wish me luck on this adventure.

New Beginnings

So I started this blog to have a way to vent out all the frustrations as well as happy times of being a stay at home mom. Some days have ups and some days have downs. This past week has been incredibly rough in this house. My lovely 4 year old son, Dylan, has taken it upon himself to become Master of the Universe and try to make me have a meltdown that will require therapy for years to come.

Day one: Dylan decides that he wants chocolate for breakfast, so into the pantry he goes in search of a special treat for himself. He ends up with Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars and most of them end up on his bed and floor.

Day Two: Today apparently Dylan was feeling bad for eating all that chocolate yesterday so he decides to eat 2, yes 2, tubes of childrens toothpaste. He now has more than the recommended dose of flouride in his system.

Day Three: We have now put a lock on the pantry to keep him out so he doesnt overdose on chocolate and other goodies and instead he heads for the fridge to get the Strawberry Syrup and have a painting party in his room with all his stuffed animals present for the party. That was so much fun to clean up.

Day Four: Today was Monkey Day, for my little monkey climbed to the top of the linen closet and found a snowglobe that wasnt packed and decided it would be fun to smash it on his bed into a million little pieces. Thank god noone was hurt but it surely made for some glittery carpet.

Day Five: All goes well. We are having such a great day. No mishaps, lots of love and hugs and kisses and just all around great behavior. You know this is not going to last.

Day Six: Another day of great behavior. What has happened to my child. He is never this good. It can only be leading up to a big finale for him.

Say Seven (Mothers Day): Today was a great day. No mishaps up until 8pm. Around 8 pm we head into his room for bedtime rituals and to praise and be excited that my lovely son has turned a new leaf. We notice how unhappy his stuffed animals are and how his room has a lovely scent of lavendar. Poor animals apparently needed an ENTIRE bottle of lotion along with his bed. So ends a stressful week in the McCarter house.

Today was a great day. No mishaps, No beating up Tyler (his little brother), No backtalking. What a great day we have had. Did his schoolwork with no problems at all. YAY for Dylan what a great kid I have. However it is only 7pm so we still have a few hours to see what he has up his sleeve.

So now we try for New Beginnings. We have started again actively with schoolwork. I have also started cooking again, something I love to do for my family but just got in a funk and in that time we gained weight and felt unhealthy. So I am now making my family healthy again and working on the important things in life, Health and loving my family to pieces, even when they do drive me bonkers.
